welll as promised i was at chatton on sunday
i arrive at 8-30 to a full lake there was rods every where (note to Rodger change youre start time on the site please)
appertiser and shipman also turned up so i knew i was in for a lesson on how to catch (nice one lads) .
any way started at the top end of the pond and stew (Appertiser) surgested "i went back to basics " so after a few minute i said" ok naturals it is" :cheesy: and put on a olive mutant damsel nymph  :? after a couple of casts i was hooked up to a fish (it's that long since i caught any thing i forgot what to do ).
fish in to the net YES blank drought over ,a nice wee fish of 1 1/2 lb .
another couple of casts and another fish on the same fly  i was doing a jig with excitment .
4 fish by dinner time all on the same fly an olive mutant damsel nymph im pleased stew said go back to basics or naturals
after a nice bacon butty i went up to the top lake and switched fly's Causey killer on and out with a fish on within 3-4 casts .
then it went quiet for the rest of the day .
on me way back down to the hut i put a mutant back on this time a daddy and fished the small channel for 20 minutes with 2 more fish to the net
so i finished off with 2 in the bag and 5 released back .
thanks to rob and stew for there company i enjoyed it .
they both caught fish but ill let them tell you what on and how many .
any way me blank is over thanks to the mutants
role on wednesday at derwent (hopfully another catch book with mutants in it )
o nearly for got bumped in to pep and midgetip and there up for the Leon day so get your names down lads and lasses .
