small Stream 'Diemel' near Westheim Germany

Postby Jensvoigt » Sun Jun 13, 2010 5:25 pm

Good evening,
this Time I want to introduce the small Stream 'Diemel' near Westheim/Kassel in Germany. It is, like the Oder up to 6 to 10 metres broad and about 50 to 70 Centimetres in Depth and everywhere wadeable. The Water is allmost ginclear. There are Brownies, Rainbows and Grayling as well. The best Brownie is about 55 cm and the best Grayling about 50 cm, the average Size of the Fish is about 25 to 28 cm, not big but vital Fighters. The Daytickets is availiable for 10,-€ and the Stretch is 7 km long and for Fly and Spinfisher as well. The Season lasts from April 1st up to September 30th. I hope to welcome you some Day on the Diemel. If more Pictures are required just let me know... ;)
